yeah, my girlfriends would be jealous

Venture over to World Wide Fred, for yet another adorable silicone baking mold! Complete with matching saucers, you can bake four cupcakes at a time. It may be a bit unpractical, but if you’re having a small tea party — why not? If I bought these molds, I’d throw myself an Alice in Wonderland “Mad Hatter Party,” similar to the one at Royal/T in Culver City not too long ago!

What is un•kitschy•kitchen?

To know that, you gotta know what kitsch is. There are many interpretations of “kitsch,” but I fondly adhere to the definition provided by Wikipedia dearest:

“denoting works executed to pander to popular demand alone and purely for commercial purposes rather than works created as self-expression by an artist”

In an ideal kitchen, my measuring cups would be ceramic swans. In an ideal kitchen, my apron would resemble a summer dress rather than solid and plaid prints. In an ideal kitsch-en, even colanders scream fab & functional!
